KULANU is a community based program that depends upon
the involvement of caring adults, teenageers and children who have
time, energy and possibly skills to give to our number of programs
and individuals with special needs. We know through experience that
you will gain tremendous satisfaction in volunteering for KULANU.
The following programs and situations are in need
of volunteers:

• Teen Shadows
• Adults to help with groups and check in
• Adults and Teens who have special skills and interests
to teach classes, ie, cooking, dance, woodworking, music,
art, etc. Give your ideas.

Parents of children with special needs often need time with
their other children. Children with special needs don't get
many visitors after school. Working on play skills, athletics
or going out for a walk can help families a great deal.

| Swim Program |

Looking for volunteers to help on a one to one basis with
children of special needs. An aquatics instructor will provide
guidelines and direction.

| Occupational Therapy |

OTs and PTs to help supervise and to direct para-professionals
and parents in the use of the specially equipped OT room at
HAFTR Elementary School.

Lunch Time and Recess |
Adults to help oversee lunch and
recess with the Kulanu Torah Academy students. |
